Chairman's Burns’ Night in aid of Ashgate Hospicecare

To celebrate the birth of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns, North East Derbyshire District Council's Chairman will be hosting a special evening on Friday 28th January 2022 at the Technique Stadium.

Guests will arrive at the venue for 7.00 pm and will enjoy a two-course meal of haggis, tatties and neeps with seasonal vegetables (chicken alternative and vegetarian option are available) followed by cranachan (traditional Scottish dessert), tea/coffee and homemade fudge.

There will be traditional Scottish music with four pipers and songs from Charlotte Beth. Charlotte's career includes performing at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall.  Her 'singing CV' features performing with professionals such as Michael Bolton, John Parr and LaLa Brooks to name drop a few!  Charlotte says she loves belting out the ballads but singing her favourite cheesy pop classics too!  She is currently writing her first album and excited for its release (you can follow Charlotte on her social media pages Charlotte Beth Music).  

Anyone bringing their quaich will be given a drop of whisky!!

Whether you choose to don your finest tartan outfit or other smart attire, it will be an enjoyable evening in aid of Ashgate Hospice!  The cost per person is £25.
