North East Derbyshire District Council Chair, Cllr Antcliff, has launched an online photo competition to help raise funds for her chosen charities, with the winner having their council tax paid for a month.
Residents of North East Derbyshire are invited to take part in the online competition by guessing the locations of the 8 images on the council’s website https://www.ne-derbyshire.gov.uk/about-the-council/councillors-and-meetings/chair-of-the-council
The guesses are then submitted as part of a £5 donation to the Chair’s charities (answers can be submitted in the comments on the donation site) and the entrants will receive a further 8 images by email. Donations can be made easily, online, by visiting: www.easydonate.org/NOIT02
The Council Chair is raising cash for her two chosen charities - Alzheimer’s Research UK and the National Deaf Children’s Society.
Chair of North East Derbyshire District Council, Councillor Pat Antcliff said, “We have such a beautiful district in North East Derbyshire and this photo competition will show off some of our lovely places – all you have to do is correctly identify where they are!”
“By taking part, not only will you receive a fantastic prize in a month’s Council Tax paid, but the £5 donation from each entry will go a long way to helping my two charities – Alzheimers Research UK and National Deaf Children’s Society, both of which are dearly close to my heart”.
The competition closes on Wednesday 27 January 2021 at 5 pm, with the winner drawn at the end of the month.
The prize will be funded from the Civic budget for this competition. All funds raised will go to the Chair’s chosen charities.
