We have positions available at the new Clay Cross Active community hub and the trades we still need for the new town square - Baileys Square - also in Clay Cross.
The event has been organised by North East Derbyshire District Council in partnership with Jobcentre Plus and Inside Limited – contractor for the Clay Cross Town Centre Regeneration Scheme.
The Jobs Fair will be held at Clay Cross Social Centre, Market Street, Clay Cross on 28 August, from 9am-4pm.
Cllr Jayne Barry, Cabinet member for Growth at North East Derbyshire District Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for individuals and trades looking for work to come and find out more about the positions we have available in Clay Cross.
“The town is currently being transformed and this is an exciting time to get onboard in this momentous chapter of its history.”

- Leisure Attendant – Minimum requirement of a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Casual Leisure Attendant – Minimum requirement of a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
- Catering Assistant – Requirement to complete a Food Safety Hygiene Certificate.
- Casual Catering Assistant- Requirement to complete a Food Safety Hygiene Certificate.
- TAG Active Attendant – no minimum requirement of qualifications.
- Casual TAG Active Attendant – no minimum requirement of qualifications.
- Part time Cleaner - no minimum requirement of qualifications.
- Casual Receptionist - no minimum requirement of qualifications.
- Healthy Lifestyles Instructor -Minimum requirement NVQ level 2 Gym Instructor (or equivalent)
The Leisure Team will be available on the day to answer any questions you may have.

- Site cleaner - three mornings a week September 24 through to August 25
- Admin assistant - September 24 through to August 25
- Forklift driver - January 25 through to August 25
- Bricklaying apprentice - January 25 through to May/June 25
Inside Limited is also happy to consider work experience placements and every effort is being made to utilise local labour.
