Egg-straordinary mystery prize up for grabs in Easter artwork competition

We have launched an Easter competition inviting residents and their children to submit their artwork of Easter and Spring themed drawings to be in with a chance of winning an egg-citing mystery prize!

If your child loves drawing make sure they enter this fantastic competition! The theme is to draw an Easter or Spring themed image of your choice and is open to entries of any age (children should have a parent's or guardian's permission) and a donation of £2 is required to the Chair of North East District Council’s chosen charities - Alzheimer’s Research UK and the National Deaf Children’s Society.

The competition runs from 19 March until 19 April 2021 and entries should be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. Chair of North East Derbyshire District Council, Councillor Pat Antcliff said, “With the Easter holidays shortly upon us, this is the perfect time for the younger generation of our district to show us their amazing artwork!

“We will be picking the winning drawing after Easter and a fantastic mystery prize is up for grabs for the lucky entrant. Each entry and donation we do receive will go a long way to helping my two chosen charities, every single penny counts to helping these amazing charities and the work they do”.
