Chesterfield Football Club's very own Nick Johnson was MC at a fundraising Quiz Night in aid of the Chairman of North East Derbyshire District Council's Appeal for Ashgate Hospice.
The quiz event saw entrants battling it out to win a host of quality prizes that included an overnight package courtesy of the Casa Hotel, a speedboat trip on Ladybower Reservoir and a dining experience at the Technique Stadium.
There was also opportunity to win a prize in a game based on 'Play your cards right.'
Council Chairman Cllr. Martin Thacker said: "It was a wonderful event, which tested knowledge and skill but was enormous fun at the same time.
I am grateful to Nick Johnson for his continuing support for my Appeal. The amount raised for Ashgate Hospice was a fantastic £688."
