Keen golfers are invited to swing into action to help raise funds for North East Derbyshire District Council’s Chairman’s appeal.
A Charity Golf Day has been organised to take place on Thursday 16 September at College Pines Golf Course in Worksop, with money raised going to Ashgate Hospicecare.
Cllr Martin Thacker MBE, Chairman of North East Derbyshire District Council, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to dust off your golf clubs, get together with friends and raise money for a very worthy cause.”
The cost to take part is £120 per team of four, to include a round of golf (Stableford Format), a meal (steak and ale pie and chips) and prize table (each team to donate a prize for the raffle).

Cllr Thacker is hoping to raise as much money and awareness as he can for Ashgate Hospicecare during his year in office.
A number of fundraising events are taking place over the weeks and months ahead, details for which can be found here on our website and social media.
