At the next full Council meeting on the 29th November 2021, Councillors will consider the adoption of North East Derbyshire’s draft Local Plan.
The Local Plan is the document which sets out the future strategy for growth in the District over a twenty year period, allowing sustainable and planned development, with relevant infrastructure improvements. The draft Local Plan has been through an Examination process, where it has been found sound and capable of adoption by an independent Inspector, and it is now for Council to make a decision on the adoption of the Plan.
The adoption of the Local Plan will now be considered at the next council meeting. The full agenda and report on the Local Plan can be found on our website:
Members of the public can attend the meeting to watch the debate. However places are strictly limited due to the capacity of the room and those wishing to observe the meeting can also do so via our live-stream YouTube channel.
