New leisure centre scheme allows members to ‘FLEX’ their muscles

A new leisure membership scheme has been unveiled by North East Derbyshire District Council, enabling members to pick and choose their preferred activities in a new initiative known as ‘FLEX’.

The membership offer allows complete flexibility with two parallel schemes, the first allows users to pick one of either gym, swim or fitness class for unlimited use for £23 per month, with no contract or commitments and the second flex scheme allows users to select two of either gym, swim or fitness classes for unlimited use at £26.50 per month, again with no contract or commitments.

The membership offers are available at all three leisure centres (Dronfield, Eckington and Sharley Park) and allow members to visit and use the facilities at any of the sites, with just one membership.

North East Derbyshire District Council Cabinet Member for Leisure, Councillor Kenyon said, “We are delighted to offer these new membership schemes at our leisure centres. They give the member total flexibility in what they want from our centres, at a low price and with no contractual obligations either, it fits in perfectly with the everyday demands of modern working families”.

“The fact one membership can be used at any of the three centres gives our centre users total freedom of the district to utilise the different resources at each centre, making a unique and cost effective offer for new and existing members.”
