The Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations (Amendment) (England) (No.2) require the council to prepare and publish an Infrastructure Funding Statement every year that sets out information on financial contributions the council has secured through section 106 agreements from new developments for infrastructure and affordable housing.
The Infrastructure Funding Statement 2020-21 is now available, which covers the period from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021.
In summary, the statement provides information on:
- the s106 developer contributions paid to the council before and during 2020/21;
- the s106 developer contributions spent during 2020/21 including those transferred to other organisations outside of the Council for them to spend;
- the infrastructure projects delivered on the ground through the use of s106 developer contributions during 2020/21; and
- the Council’s future spending priorities on infrastructure for the District including details of the potential s016 developer contributions to be provided under planning obligations entered into during 2020/21.
