Household Waste Recycling Centres
The Household Waste Recycling Centres are provided by Derbyshire County Council. Find out what you can take and what you can't take on Derbyshire County Council's website.
As of July 2024, DCC have implemented some changes for tyres and asbestos. Residents will be charged £4 per tyre up to a maximum of 4 domestic car or van tyres and £6 per sheet of asbestos up to a maximum of 2 sheets (not including trade waste).
Payment is by card only and doesn’t apply to bicycle tyres.
The Household Waste Recycling sites are open daily, including weekends, from 8.30am to 6.00pm, except for 25th and 26th December, and 1st January.
Recycling Centre Locations
Stonegravels Household Waste Recycling Centre is located in Chesterfield.
Residents in the east of district may find it easier to travel to the Bolsover Household Waste Recycling Centre and residents in the very south of the District may find it easier to travel to the Loscoe Household Waste Recycling Centre.
