Monday
Sharley Park Strollers Longer Walk
- Distance: 5 miles.
- Time: 10.30am.
- Meeting Point: St Barnabas Church Centre, Pilsley Road, Danesmoor, S45 9BU.
- Additional info: Walks are mostly off road and usually involve hills and stiles. Refreshments are available for a small cost after the walk.

- Distance: 3 to 3.5 miles.
- Time: 11.00am.
- Meeting Point: St Barnabas Church Centre, Pilsley Road, Danesmoor, S45 9BU.
- Additional info: Walks often involve hills and can incorporate stiles and gates. Refreshments are available for a small cost after the walk.
Tuesday
North Wingfield Walk
- Distance: 2 to 3 miles.
- Time: 10.00am.
- Meeting Point: North Wingfield Community Resource Centre, S42 5PW.
- Additional info: Routes are varied and some walks include hills and stiles. Refreshments are available for 50p after the walk.
North Wingfield Family Walk
- Last Tuesday of every month (starting 30 January 2024)
- Distance: 1 to 2 miles.
- Time: Meet at 10.00am. Walk starts at 10.30am.
- Meeting Point: Alice’s View Childrens’ Centre, North Wingfield, S42 5XA.
- Additional info: Parents, carers and grandparents are all welcome. Easy walk on good surfaces, suitable for all buggies. May stop off at the park too.
Wednesday
Sharley Park Strollers Drive Out Walk
- Distance: 5 to 6 miles.
- Time: 10.00am.
- Meeting Point: St Barnabas Church Centre, Pilsley Road, Danesmoor, S45 9BU. The groups then drives out to various walk starting points within North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
- Additional info: Expect hills, mud, stiles and gates. The group usually end their walks at a café where there is opportunity to purchase refreshments and socialise with other walkers.
Wingerworth Walk
- 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
- Distance: 3 to 3.5 miles.
- Time: 10.30am
- Meeting Point: Smithy Pond Pub car park, Wingerworth, S42 6LN.
- Additional info: Walks often go along quiet lanes, through woodlands and across fields. They usually include hills and some stiles.
Holmewood Walking Group
- Last Wednesday of each month.
- Distance: 1-2 miles mainly trails and pavement walking.
- Time: 10.00am
- Meeting Point: Holmewood Community Centre, Heath Road, Holmewood, Derbyshire, S42 5RB
- Suitable for everyone
- Additional info: Refreshments available after for a 50p donation.
Thursday
Walk Derbyshire - Clay Cross Monthly Health Walk
Come and join one of our many group walks within North East Derbyshire. They can improve your health and wellbeing. A gentle walk around Kenning Park, lasting no more than 60 minutes. Ideal for those with health conditions.
Manage your illness better and naturally boost your wellbeing.
- Day/time: Thursday 25 January, 29 February and 28 March 2024 at 1.30pm.
- Meeting Point: Clay Cross Social Centre, S45 9JE.
- Ample parking available. Suggested arrival 1.15pm.
- Chat and a cuppa on return to the centre at 2.30pm.
- We have a strict no dog policy at this walk.

Friday
Dronfield Walk
- Every Friday
- Distance: 2-3 miles pavement and rural walking.
- Time: 1.30pm
- Meeting Point: Meet outside Dronfield Sports Centre, S18 1PD.
- Additional info: Walks are often hilly on various terrains. Occasionally the group take a flatter route. Contact Hayley on 07971654854 for further information and group walk dates.
Saturday
Eckington Walk
- Distance: 2 to 3 miles.
- Time: 10.00am
- Meeting Point: Eckington Library car park, S21 4JG
- Additional info: A lot of the walks go through woodlands and can sometimes be muddy. Walks often involve hills and occasionally include stiles.
