Road works and emergency closures, as well as closures for events such as some major road races, are dealt with by Derbyshire County Council. Other closures are usually dealt with by us.

Temporary Road Closures
Apply for a Temporary road closure. Event organisers should apply at least 12 weeks before the date of the event to allow time for the application to be processed.
Apply online for a temporary road closure for the Remembrance Day Parade. Closing date for applications: 11 September.
