Dronfield Sports Centre celebrates its 50th birthday in May with a fantastic offer for new leisure members.
To mark the occasion, anyone signing up for Just Do More! Unlimited, Corporate or Flex memberships during May, gets 50% off their initial pro-rata payment*. Meaning the sooner you sign-up, the more you will save!
You can use your membership at all four of North East Derbyshire District Council’s leisure centres - Dronfield Sports Centre, Eckington Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre, Killamarsh Active and Sharley Park Leisure Centre**.
Chris Mills, North East Derbyshire District Council’s Assistant Director for Leisure, said: “Dronfield Sports Centre has been a well-used and much loved feature of the town for the past half century. Having worked at the facility for over 30 years I have seen many residents and different generations using the facility to improve their health and wellbeing and the Centre now attracts more customers than ever, proving its popularity to the residents in Dronfield and surrounding areas.
“During that time, it has undergone a number of changes to improve facilities to meet customer demand and expectations while delivering quality facilities that are safe and welcoming. Recently this has included a new café and refurbishments to the gym, squash courts and fitness studio.
“We’ve also been carrying out a number of environmental improvements. The latest of which has seen the installation of solar panels, air source heat pumps, cavity wall insulation and LED lighting at the centre to reduce our carbon footprint, making the facility one of the greenest in the area.
“We will continue the hard work in the coming years with our fantastic leisure team and we can’t wait to welcome new customers to come and try out our facilities. So to celebrate the centre’s birthday, we are pleased that anyone signing up for membership in May will be able to get it at a reduced rate for the month, which is valid at all four of our leisure centres, including Dronfield!”

Just Do More! Corporate - If the company you work for is registered with us and has 5 or more employees, as members then you benefit from discounts on the cost of a monthly membership. £25 per month
Just Do More! Flex 1 – Gives unlimited use of one of the following: gym, swim or fitness classes (including virtual classes). £23 per month
Just Do More! Flex 2 – Choose two of the following activities for unlimited use: gym, swim, fitness classes (including virtual classes). £26.50 per month
*Example: sign up for Just Do More! Unlimited on 1 May and pay just £15 for the month of May, instead of the usual £30 payment. Sign up half way through the month and pay just £7.50 instead of the usual £15. Membership will revert to full price after May.
** The Sports Hall, Fitness Studio and squash courts are currently closed at Sharley Park Leisure Centre for building works. The swimming pool and gym are open as usual. A limited programme of fitness classes is being run from Coney Green Business Centre and The Bret Club, Clay Cross.
