The Council’s Planning Policy and Housing Strategy Teams have employed consultants to prepare a Housing Needs Assessment for the Council.
The Housing Needs Assessment will give us a detailed understanding of the District’s housing market and provide a robust evidence base to inform the development of the new Housing Strategy and future Local Plan Review.
As part of the work, we are inviting residents to complete a survey and tell us about their needs and preferences.
North East Derbyshire district residents can complete the survey here.
The survey is the first step towards reviewing people’s housing needs, to ensure that the Council’s strategies and policies regarding future housebuilding address our residents’ requirements.
There are a total of three prizes of £200 to be won - which will be randomly selected from those who respond.
The response deadline to the survey is 10th March.
