Enhancing Village Halls and Community Venues aims to maximise potential to increase viability, increase hire bookings and provide a sustainable and thriving community space. Grants of up to £10,000 are available but please note that only one application form per venue will be considered.
Eligible changes can include renovations which increase capacity, improve key facilities such as kitchens or toilets and energy efficient adaptations and installations which help to lower energy bills and address climate change.
Organisations running village halls and communities venues such as Parish and Town Councils, constituted Management Committees, Charities and Community Interest Companies within North East Derbyshire can apply. All applicants must evidence they have permission to carry out the works if the building is not owned by the applying organisation.
The deadline for applications is 10th February 2023 but to ensure programme delivery we reserve the right to amend deadlines at any time. Works must be completed by 31st December 2024.
